This Return Policy outlines the terms and conditions regarding refunds, cancellations, and service adjustments. As a professional design service provider, we approach each situation with fairness and transparency to maintain positive client relationships.
1. Nature of Our Services
Perfumecandlesis provides professional UX/UI design services, which are creative and consulting services rather than physical products. Due to the nature of creative work, our return and refund policies differ from those of product-based businesses. Each project involves significant time, expertise, and resources dedicated specifically to your needs.
Our services include, but are not limited to:
- User experience research and analysis
- User interface design and visual design
- Wireframing and prototyping
- Design system development
- Usability testing and consultation
- Brand identity design
- Interactive design elements
2. Satisfaction Guarantee
We stand behind the quality of our work and are committed to delivering designs that meet your expectations. Our project process includes multiple review and revision stages specifically designed to ensure your satisfaction before final delivery. We encourage open communication throughout the project to address any concerns promptly.
Each of our service packages includes a specified number of revision rounds:
- Essential Design Package: 2 revision rounds
- Professional Suite Package: 4 revision rounds
- Complete Experience Package: Unlimited revisions
3. Project Cancellation by Client
If you wish to cancel a project after work has commenced, the following terms apply:
Before Work Begins
If you cancel your project before any work has been started, you may receive a full refund of any payments made, minus a 10% administrative fee to cover initial project setup and administrative costs.
During Discovery Phase
If cancellation occurs during the discovery or research phase (typically the first 20% of the project timeline), you will be refunded 70% of the total project fee. The retained portion covers research, planning, and administrative work already completed.
During Design Phase
Cancellation during the active design phase (between 20% and 80% of project completion) will result in a prorated refund based on the percentage of work completed. You will receive all work completed up to the point of cancellation.
During Final Stages
If the project is more than 80% complete at the time of cancellation, no refund will be issued. However, you will receive all completed work and deliverables up to that point.
4. Project Cancellation by Perfumecandlesis
In rare circumstances, we may need to cancel a project. This may occur due to:
- Unresponsive clients who fail to provide necessary feedback or materials for an extended period
- Requests that conflict with our professional ethics or values
- Circumstances beyond our control that prevent project completion
- Breach of project agreement terms by the client
If we cancel a project, you will receive a prorated refund for any work not yet completed, and you will retain ownership of all work completed prior to cancellation.
5. Refund Eligibility
Refunds may be considered in the following circumstances:
- We fail to deliver the agreed-upon services as specified in the project agreement
- The final deliverables significantly deviate from the approved concepts without client consent
- Technical issues on our end prevent successful delivery of the work
- We miss agreed-upon deadlines significantly without valid justification
Refunds are not typically available for:
- Changes in client business direction or strategy after project approval
- Subjective dissatisfaction after approval of design concepts
- Third-party influences or requirements not disclosed during project scoping
- Delays caused by late client feedback or material provision
6. Refund Process
To request a refund, please follow these steps:
- Contact us in writing via email explaining the reason for your refund request
- Include your project reference number and relevant details
- Provide any supporting documentation for your claim
- Allow up to 5 business days for our team to review your request
- We will respond with our decision and, if approved, the refund amount
Approved refunds will be processed within 10-14 business days using the original payment method when possible. Alternative refund methods may be arranged if the original payment method is no longer available.
7. Deposit Policy
We require a deposit before commencing work on any project. The standard deposit structure is as follows:
- 50% deposit required before project kickoff
- Remaining 50% due upon project completion, before final file delivery
For larger projects, we may offer milestone-based payment schedules, which will be detailed in your project agreement. Deposits are generally non-refundable once work has commenced, except as outlined in Section 3 of this policy.
8. Intellectual Property and Deliverables
Upon full payment, you will receive complete ownership of all final approved deliverables. In cases of partial payment or project cancellation:
- Full intellectual property transfer occurs only after complete payment is received
- Partially completed work remains the property of Perfumecandlesis until full payment
- We may retain portfolio rights for showcase purposes unless otherwise agreed
9. Dispute Resolution
If you are not satisfied with our initial response to your refund request, we encourage the following steps:
- Request a meeting with our project management team to discuss your concerns
- Provide additional documentation or clarification supporting your position
- Work together toward a mutually agreeable resolution
We are committed to fair resolution of any disputes and will work diligently to find solutions that respect both parties' interests. In cases where we cannot reach an agreement, mediation or arbitration may be pursued in accordance with our Terms of Use.
10. Amendments to This Policy
Perfumecandlesis reserves the right to modify this Return Policy at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to this page. The date of the most recent revision will be indicated at the top of this page. Your continued use of our services following any changes constitutes acceptance of the modified policy.
For projects already in progress at the time of any policy change, the terms in effect at the time of project agreement will apply unless both parties agree otherwise in writing.
